MEET YOUR GUIDE:
I’m Cody Lachner, a financial planner who loves the outdoors. I became a financial planner to take
away the complexity of money and empower folks to live their best lives.
I am a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and hold a Masters degree in Personal Financial Planning.
Additionally, to provide my clients with the best tax advice & guidance, I became an IRS Enrolled
Agent. As an Enrolled Agent, I have been admitted to practice in front of the IRS on tax matters and
am granted the ability to represent taxpayers in all 50 states.
Professional education is very important to me and I’m always striving to keep learning & expanding
my technical knowledge to ensure that I’m always providing the best service & advice to those I serve.
Fun facts about me:
When I’m not meeting with clients or in front of a computer building financial plans, you can find me
on my mountain bike, hiking some trails, or paddling on some water.
My wife, Julia, and I have fallen in love with Alaska over the years and it’s one of our favorite places to
travel to. We find ourselves going back again and again. I absolutely love being in wild, remote places
and Alaska offers an endless supply of that!
Some of my most memorable adventures have been in Alaska. Here are some of my favorites:
Hiking the Stampede Trail just outside of Denali National Park in Alaska (the trail made famous
by the book and movie “Into the Wild”).
Catching a 135 lb halibut in the Gulf of Alaska with my wife; that took some serious muscle and
stamina to reel in!
Camping under the Northern Lights on a cool fall night in the backcountry. Seeing them dance
above us in the silence of night was incredible and is hard to put into words.
